After advancing to the PSAC Semifinals with a win over Lock Haven on Tuesday, the Lady Cat volleyball team continued its terrific play on Friday. The Lady Cats dealt Gannon University a 3-1 loss at Shippensburg University to advance to the Saturday's PSAC championship game in Pitt-Johnstown's first season in the conference. Â
Marissa Erminio finished with 17 kills, and 11 digs, and
Beth Kendera added 10 kills to lead the Lady Cats, now 25-10 on the year.

Pitt-Johnstown, the No. two seed in the PSAC Eastern Division, advances to the PSAC Championship game against the winner of tonight's California (PA)-Shippensburg match.Â
The title game is set for 2 p.m. and will be broadcast live on PCN.

After losing set one, 13-25, Pitt-Johnstown answered back with 27-25, 25-23, and 25-23 wins to seal their spot in the championship match.

Kelsey Shanabrook tallied nine kills and 13 digs, while
Katie Svetahor collected 18 digs.
Allison Mondorff finished with 39 assists.

Hannah Krenn led Gannon, seeded fourth in thePSAC Western Division with 17 kills, while Emily Carver and Jordyn Thiery each tallied nine kills. With the loss, Gannon dropped to 20-13.
